Rosen Technology Resources Announces the Release of Polaris Version 2.5 including a new Graphical User Interface
Chicago, IL– 8/22/11 — Rosen Technology Resources, an award-winning litigation support consulting and software company, is pleased to announce the release of Polaris version 2.5, which identifies, groups, and provides a near-duplicate document review order, according to similarity thresholds established by a user. The new software package is available for client installation and replaces previous versions of Polaris.
Polaris considers the content, rather than format of documents to determine relationships. In addition to providing the standard grouping and best representative data which can be typical of near-duplicate analysis, Polaris provides data which reveals relationships beyond those available from traditional near-duplication applications, resulting in saved time and money during the document review process.
Polaris Version 2.5 includes the following enhancements:
• Industry leading accuracy
• New Graphical User Interface for client ease of use
• Speed and data handling enhancements
Polaris, as a stand alone near-duplicate processing platform, will remain a core RTR product, along with ALCoder auto-coding technology; however, technology partners now have the added option of direct Polaris integration and automation within their own technology offerings. "Polaris 2.5 reflects our belief that easily executed, high quality near-duplicate analysis should be available within each stage of the EDRM workflow model as a fully integrated, point-and-click solution", says Lisa Rosen, President of Rosen Technology Resources.
Polaris near-duplicate analysis reduces the cost of litigation document discovery and review by identifying duplicative documents, grouping of exact or similar documents, and providing review databases with a near duplicate review order. "As an independent litigation support technology consultant, I use and recommend the most common review platforms every day. And each day, I am left wishing every single one of those databases had Polaris results already loaded. How can I vouch for the accuracy of a production, if I haven't defensibly identified and checked for issue coding consistency across all versions of a document, exact duplicates and near duplicates? How can I represent to a client that their review strategy is efficient, if their batching methodology does not consider near-duplicate families, near-duplicate clusters, or email threads? If the client has applied Polaris, I can," says Lisa Rosen, CEO of Rosen Tech.
